NEW DATE | April 29, 2022 | Peter Mulvey Live | The Old Plonk School in Asheville

Peter Mulvey has been a songwriter, road dog, raconteur and almost-poet since before he can remember. Raised working-class Catholic on the Northwest side of Milwaukee, he took a semester in Ireland, and immediately began cutting classes to busk on Grafton Street in Dublin and hitchhike through the country, finding whatever gigs he could. Back stateside, he spent a couple years gigging in the Midwest before lighting out for Boston, where he returned to busking (this time in the subway) and coffeehouses. Small shows led to larger shows, which eventually led to regional and then national and international touring. The wheels have not stopped since.

Friday, April 29, 2022 at 7pm is your opportunity to experience the lyrical musings of singer songwriter Peter Mulvey in the intimate setting of a house concert in a unique private residence here in Asheville.

Limited to 60 guests, this will be Peter's second house concert in Asheville. He performed to a full house in 2019 on the heels of teaching at the famous Swannanoa Gathering -- a highly respected and beloved annual educational music camp for adults that happens every summer just east of Asheville in Swannanoa, in the home of the gathering's founder, Warren Wilson College. If you are a singer songwriter, you should check out the Swannanoa Gathering. And If you are a singer songwriter, you should also check out Peter Mulvey.
